Side note: Riis is suddenly in the 90th percentile for height, so she outgrew her old bathing suit and I needed a quick replacement. I was looking over the rack at Children's Place and saw the number she's wearing above, priced at $6. A woman walked past me as I was trying to decide if the $6 was actually too much to pay for such a hideous design. I felt her starting at me, so I felt obligated to defend my taste level.
"I know it's awful, but it's only six bucks," I offered, smiling.
Her eyes flew open. "My daughter has that suit and I think it's adorable!"
This stuff only happens to me, I swear.

Funny how toddlers don't care what they wear and we mull over it for them. I actually think it's cute, Nik. Could be worse....
