Riis went on her first field trip on Friday. Her teacher Jose laughed when I came to pick her up. "I was only in charge of TWO kids there," he said. "TWO. One was Riis. And I swear she's a ninja. She'd throw down a smoke bomb and disappear. Seriously, I would look away for 3 seconds and she'd be 100 feet away in a sea of other kids."
